PS 38 is excited to announce our 3K/Pre-K tour dates for September 2026.

If you are a prospective 3K parent, please do not sign up for a tour unless you are zoned for PS 38. If you are not sure of your zone, please go to https://schoolsearch.schools.nyc/ to verify or reach out to the Parent Coordinator at jsmith276@schools.nyc.gov or 718-330-9305 for more information.

We never want this aspect of going back to school to be a burden or stress on our families, so please don’t feel like you must purchase all of these materials if it is a hardship. We have many supplies in the building already and can supplement when teachers need additional materials.
PLEASE LABEL ALL PERSONAL ITEMS before the school year begins!

3K Back to School Kindergarten Pre-K

School Supply Lists

The first day of school is Thursday, September 5! This is a full day for all K-5 students.

Pre-K students will dismiss at 11:10am on September 5 & 6.

3K students will attend for 1 hour on September 5, and dismiss at 11:10am on September 6. Your classroom teacher will provide additional information about your phase-in schedule.
